New York is a melting pot of incredible things to do and cool areas to explore. That being said, with so many places to go, it can be difficult to narrow down a list of the best restaurants in New York when you’re exploring the city.

From the best New York brunch spots to the tastiest doughnut places; there’s a type, budget and restaurant that’s right for everyone in the city.

That being said, with thousands of the best restaurants in New York, it can be hard to whittle down the exact place to grab a bite.

This is especially true once hunger strikes and you’re anything like me and get totally angry! 😉

Best Restaurants in New York City (1)

With that in mind, take a look at some of the best restaurants in New York City that I hope you’ll love. Some are fancy, others are more ‘no-frills’ but all serve the tastiest dishes in all of the Big Apple.

1.) Bubby’s

Okay, Bubby’s (for me at least) is an institution when it comes to getting brunch in New York. Whenever we go, we always try and grab a table for one of their brunch or lunches that are so tasty (and massive, too).

With two locations in New York, it’s pretty easy to rock up and get a table (though, it’s always busy). That being said, make sure to reserve a spot online if you’re visiting at weekends or around peak times. After all, there’s no need for any unnecessary waiting around.

Once here, make sure to try their pancakes (which will leave you stuffed). Plus, they have a spiked lemonade that is great for a weekend tipple.

Bubby’s is less of a fancy spot and much cooler! That being said, it’s easily one of the best restaurants in New York to visit after you arrive if you’re hankering for brunch.

2.) Jungsik

Things To See New York (11)

Perched on Harrison Street, Jungsik is one of the best restaurants in New York for Korean-fusion dishes. The whole team create an amazing variety of dishes to try, with some looking like fine art in the process.

For me, their wagyu beef broth is so tasty and they also have sea urchin with kimchi, too. Just make sure to book a table as this spot fills up fast in the city.

One thing to note, prices here can be a little higher than some of the other best restaurants in New York. Though, it’s totally worth it for a little treat.
