I’ve done so many blog posts on this but I’ve finally gotten round to editing the video from our trip! πŸ™‚

When we were in Italy I ended up going way overboard with the videos and photos I was taking and it was only when I got home and had to sift through hours of footage that I actually realised it!

N.B: This is part of the reason while it’s still taking me ages to get round to posting my photos from when we were on Safari in South Africa – I took almost 4,000 pictures!

The video is fairly short and I hope to have more detailed videos on our YouTube channel soon (I’ve not been as active on there as I probably should have). Till then, here’s what it was like spending a week on the road in a rickshaw in Italy!

The bigger question here is – would you do this?

This looks amazing, guys! Italy is such a beautiful country, and to be that much closer to the scenery seems uh-mazing. Glad you had fun!

We had an amazing time Emma. You’re right – the scenery was one of our favourite parts as you got to actually enjoy it (even when you drove past it as the rickshaws don’t move nearly as fast as cars). The whole experience made me wanna do it across other parts of Italy.

  • This looks amazing! You two are crazy, Italian roads are so busy, I’d be scared to drive a car let alone a richshaw haha! Love the video and glad you had a great time!

Haha! Thanks Danielle! You’re so right about the roads! It wasn’t so bad for the most part outside of the but when you went through the cities (Naples in particular), it was crazy but so much fun! πŸ™‚

  • I would do it as it’s so darn gorgeous!!

Hi! I just booked this with a friend. What dud you do about luggage in the rickshaw when you got out to tour around by foot?

    • HandLuggageOnly

Nice one Ashley! I’m so jealous! You’re in for such a fantastic adventure! How long are you going for? When we did it, we typically went for one of two options with out baggage – we checked into the hotels and left it there (not often) or we just carried it on our backs with us. This is why packing light is essential. πŸ™‚ Can’t wait to hear all about it when you go!
