This post is promoted by The Sun and we’re all up for it! We’re always on the lookout for accessible ways to travel after all!

To be fair though, the idea is not just limited to the UK, you can do it across Europe if you wanna go further afield. I just have lots more of the UK that I want to explore hence why I’m looking at the UK but regardless of destination, this idea is definitely worth a gander.

The thing with travelling so much over the last few years (#HumbleBrag) is that we truly appreciate how there are so many ways to travel. We’ve gone across Italy in a rickshaw, stayed in luxury at a 5 Star hotel in Las Vegas, hiked in Norway and rented a truly British cottage for a week in the Isles of Scilly. All of these rather varied travel experiences have definitely made us open to looking at all the different ways to travel and see more of the world.

Okay so the idea I was talking about. To be honest, it’s not new. It’s been in the UK for years (it’s almost an institution in itself) and it’s The Sun’s holidays from £15. You get to go away for from £15 and I honestly can’t argue with that as a travel deal!

THE IDEA

The idea is that you collect 8 tokens over a period of 2 weeks (April 2nd to April 17th) from The Sun newspaper. Once you have all 8 (which is technically possible from April 9th), you select 4 of the holiday destinations (in the UK or Europe – the choice is yours) that you’re interested in, along with 4 potential dates you’d like to visit on and once you make your booking, it confirms where you’ll be staying. You can see the full details on how it works and the full list of places on their website here – www.thesun.co.uk/holidays.

Best part is that you can actually find out more about the destinations in advance of booking so you really shouldn’t get any unexpected surprises. It’s also a quick few days away from just £15 so it seems like quite an easy win, right?

My choices? Well exploring the more remote parts of Scotland has become a huge priority for me so I’d probably be looking at heading far up north to Dornoch, Lossiemouth or Nairn (probably Nairn though Dornoch castle and countryside looks pretty impressive) though no one could hold it against you if you wanted a bit more sunshine down in the Mediterranean. What would your destination choices be?
