What Is It Like To Visit The Dramatic Faroe Islands?

We’re currently in the Faroe Islands and to say this trip has been a long time coming, is something of an understatement! We’d been planning and looking forward to this trip for a while. Needless to say, our expectations were quite high as soon as we arrived.

We’ve been constantly Snapchatting (@ Hand Luggage Only) in an attempt to capture (and show you) what its like to be here for the first time but I couldn’t hold off writing this post any longer and had to share with you some of the photos we’ve taken so far!

The Faroe Islands, by the way, have surpassed all our expectations! It is dramatic, other-worldly (feels like you’ve stepped into a Jurassic Park movie sometimes) and it is absolutely stunning!!! This is easily one of the most beautiful places on the planet and I can’t stop raving about it. I feel like I could go on and on about how amazing it is here but I’ve gotta head out now to go explore more of these amazing islands.

I will try to get the proper blog posts up very soon but till then, I figured I should show you firsthand (via pictures as always), what it looks and feels like to be in the Faroe Islands.

*By the way, we’ve arrived a bit too early for puffin seasons and a bit too late for the Northern Lights… Looks like I’ve already started finding multiple reasons to return to the islands… 😉
