When you think of visiting the Middle East, thoughts usually turn to destinations like Dubai or visiting iconic places like Petra and the rest of Jordan. That being said, one gem that’s sometimes overlooked is Oman. There are a heap of the best places in Oman that are dotted all across the country, which is amazing to see and experience.

This is especially true as it’s got a little bit of something for everyone. It has a shed load of history, stunning natural landscapes (like the Wadis) and cities like Muscat to explore. Obviously, you’ll expect vast desert landscapes and lots of Arabesque architecture but Oman is about so much more than that.

Anyway, this is one of the main reasons why I wanted to share some of the best places in Oman that I’m hoping you’ll love across the county.
