Exciting news!!! We’re off to explore Italy for a week with nothing but a backpack and a rickshaw! 🙂 It’s very unlike anything else we’ve done before and we’re very excited about it!

Thinking Of Visiting Pisa? Here Are 10 Things You Need To Know Before You Visit Pisa, Italy! (14)

Bravofly (which is part of the Lastminute.com group) set us a challenge to see how much of Italy we could cover – I’ve made it no secret how much I love visiting Italy and so it was a very quick (and easy) YES for Lloyd and I! 🙂 We have a few major stops on our road trip (listed below) as well as a some off the beaten track stop (hopefully, as many of these villages as possible!)

We will be using the quite apt hashtag #ItalyOnARickshaw for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter… There will be some snapchat action too (username: HandLuggageOnly) however, the main app I’m looking to try out is Periscope! Periscope effectively live-streams what we’re doing live so you can chat with us and send us your thoughts/recommendations in real time! Better still – you get the front seat with us when using Periscope so download it for free (App store link here // Android store link here), add us using our username HLOBLOG. Cant wait to catch up with ya on there! 🙂

Speaking of apps, have you downloaded our new free app for iPhones and iPads?

So, the five mains stops on this trip across Italy are:

1.) Milan

5 things to see when you visit Milan Duomo di Milano (Milan Cathedral) Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II Sforza Castle Parco Sempione Milan Architecture (9)

2.) Cinque Terre

3.) Florence

For more details – check out the Bravofly blog which has the this intro to what we will be getting up to in Italy and our very first blog post for our trip!

But, more importantly, given all you know about Italy, do you have any recommendations for us??? 🙂
