This is a quick one!

The afternoon actually started off in Muizenberg

…swiftly followed by a visit to Boulder’s Beach to see the penguins.

And although a visit to the Cape Peninsula was ultimately where we were headed to, a little stopover in Simon’s Town is definitely worth it on your drive outside of Cape Town.

To be fair, if you already stopped by to see the penguins, you’re already in Simon’s Town so you might as well take a little jaunt around the town and perhaps even stop over for lunch.

We picked a place right on the harbour which was perfect for watching the water sports enthusiasts (and shark cage divers) get ready to head out…

The food was a bit hit and miss though.

When you leave, don’t forget to take in the view of Simon’s Town from the mountain roads… definitely worth it before heading on to the Cape Peninsula! 🙂
