Over the last couple of days, we’ve been exploring the length and breadth of the stunning Spanish island of Menorca. Thing is, Menorca is often overlooked for it’s the bigger sister island of Majorca or it’s party-loving sister, Ibiza and I’m just gonna come out and say it – Menorca is one stunning gem of an island.
It’s got all the beauty of the Balearics Islands except its a lot greener, cleaner and much more unspoilt.
We arrived in Menorca fairly late and arrived at the hotel late at night so I didn’t get to see much on the way in (kinda like when we arrived into South Africa’s Eastern cape). The very next morning, however (as you could probably tell from our Instagram, we woke up to one amazingly surprising view. Things only got prettier as the days went on.
I’m still part way through my photos and so will do the proper blog posts in the coming days and weeks but for now (as per usual), I just wanted to share some photos from our time in Menorca.
*One of my favourite bits is that cave with the bar in which is just the most ideal place to watch the sunset in.
