It’s finally arrived – renowned British Artist, Banksy has launched his awesome new theme park – which we are all invited to visit!
As you will probably have guessed – I love Banksy’s thought provoking art! I even visited Bristol last month to undertake my very own “Banksy Tour” of the city. Over the last decade, Banksy’s work has appeared in places across the globe. London, Bristol, New York, Israel to name but a few… But this installation is not the same as his others! It’s a theme-park! *Cue fairground-esque music*
Who Would Visit?
In the words of Banksy himself, if you “are you looking for an alternative to the sugar-coated tedium of the average family day out? Or just somewhere a lot cheaper?
Then this is the place for you. Bring the whole family to come and enjoy the latest addition to our chronic leisure surplus…”
Where Is Dismaland?
Based in Weston-Super-Mare, a coastal town about 30 minutes from Banksy’s home of Bristol, Dismaland has launched to unprecedented demand!
When Can I Visit?
Dismaland is due to fully open to the public between:
Open everyday from 22nd August – 27th September 2015.
