It’s been a while since I’ve done a photo diary post. Granted – almost all blog posts with photos in it are a photo diary post of some sort but I haven’t done one like that solely focused on the photos. I love to talk (sometimes too much) so even though I should, there’s no way I’m gonna just drop these photos without some context.
These photos were taken in Vietnam – visiting Independence palace in Saigon aka Ho Chi Minh City. The palace is relatively new (compared to the stereotypical palaces in Europe for instance) but it is one of the main tourist attractions in Saigon. It is fairly easy to locate the palace and is great to visit, not necessarily for it’s architecture but instead for the insight it offers into aspects of Vietnam’s history and culture.
Anyway, this is meant to be a photo diary so enough talk from me – here are the photos from our time exploring Independence Palace in Saigon, Vietnam. Almost forgot to mention – entry is about 30,000 Vietnamese Dong which is equivalent to 90 pence so it’s fairly affordable to visit.
