I’m always on the look out for gadget, gizmos and quirky accessories that help make travel that extra bit more fun. Now, while none of these things are things you needs, they the kinda stuff that once you have, you start to wonder how you ever coped without them. Anyway, without further ado, here are 7 accessories I would like to get this month.
1.)Urban Renewal Vintage Re-Made Leather Tobacco Pouch in Tan – £28
Yes, this is actually a tobacco pouch but seeing as I don’t smoke, it is of no use to me as that. Instead, the reason why this is fantastic little accessory to have is that it is perfect for keeping my money, ID and essential bank card(s) with me when travelling. If I showed you my wallet right now you’d see how over-filled it is. I keep a lot of crap in my wallet. I have train receipts from over a year ago in there and I have no idea why I haven’t thrown them out. I have a tattered Pinkberry loyalty card despite having not been to a Pinkberry in the last 12 months! (Oh. My. Gosh! I haven’t been a pinkberry in 12 months??? How did that happen?). Needless to say, I have a lot of nonsense in my wallet and usually have to empty it when travelling so this would remove the need to do that and keep just the essential stuff I need in there.

2.) Photos That Changed The World Book – £14.99
Chock-a-block with inspiring photos from all over the world, this book is an essential travel companion and a constant reminder of the ways people all over the world have in one way or the other, inspired so many others. It’s the kind of book that truly speaks to a traveller and makes you wanna explore so much more than the stuff that you know.

4.) Adidas Originals Large Santiago Watch in Yellow – £55
Being a colour magpie, I’m a fan of Casio’s brightly coloured watches and I actually have one like this (exact same colour) except it’s digital… perhaps it’s time to go analog?

5.) Photo Series Fisheye Phone Lens – £18
These fish-eye lens actually work like wide-angle lens and zoom out to make the most of small spaces. They basically get as much of the photo in as possible (like the way the GoPro does) and so they’re a nifty little enhancement to add to your phone. They also work a treat and are great for travel photography when you’re out and about with just your phone.

No more awkward waiting around in restaurants, hoping that the waiter or some nearby dinner with take pity on your and your friends and offer to help you take that holiday group photo. #TakingBackControl

7.) Selfie Remote – £20
This actually goes quite perfectly with the one above as you can mount the phone on the tripod and take the photos you want using your remote.
