Right, so assignment handed in and free time restored, we proceeded to discover more of Singapore and in what turned out to be a rather short walk, ended up at the Marina Bay. To be fair, the initial trip to the Bay was to look for either the “Gardens by the Bay” or the “Marina Bay Sands Skypark” but weended up getting caught up in a magnificent light, water and fire display known as “Wonder Full“.
We had no idea what to expect and initially only stopped on Louis Vuitton Island after a sandwich and salad to polish off the rest of my ice cold lemonade and take in the sights – while on my bum of course! And yes, you did hear me right – there is a place called Louis Vuitton Island and yes, you can actually buy Louis Vuitton items from said Island. Anyway, sat down, we soon noticed loads of people piling up and didn’t take much note of it at the time – plus there was a cute baby with his father who kept tugging at my shirt in an attempt to grab my camera and end up distracting me as I was making funny faces right back and out of nowhere, this loud dramatic music started and before long, the “Wonder Full” show started! It was really great to see and so brilliant executed! If you’re in Singapore and you’re interested the times are Sunday-Thursday: 8pm & 9:30pm and Friday, Saturday: 8pm, 9:30pm & 11pm
Here are the photo I managed to take in between watching the “spectacular”.
