Ibiza is (justifiably) famous the world over as a brilliant place to visit in summer! The island fills with visitors from all over the world looking for one of the most unique islands experiences the world over.
Ibiza’s parties are famous – as are it’s clear blue waters and although these things are available long before (and indeed, after) summer, most people’s memories of the islands will only ever have been from summertime so it begs the question – what’s Ibiza like outside of the summer season.
We’re currently in Ibiza finding that out now and in truth, it boils down to one thing- visiting Ibiza pre-season is such a fantastic way to experience the islands more scenic and authentic side. Simple as that!
There’s no distraction from throngs of people, almost daily hangover (depending on your predilection for the clubs) or even the baseline of speakers booming at loud volumes. Summertime in Ibiza is special but pre-season, the island shows of some of its very best features!
We’ve only been here a few days so far (last time we visited, it was also around this time of the year though we managed to squeeze in a trip to a couple of clubs during our short stay before) and this time, we’re just leaning into the whole laid back nature of everything (and also into quite A LOT of delicious food).
Even as I write this, I’m already running 5 minutes late for dinner at one of the most highly recommended restaurants on the island and it’s all I can do to not chuck my shoes on and run out immediately in search of that delicious food!
We will cover Ibiza in a lot more details over the coming weeks but, in typical tradition, this is a very quick post with some of the photos of Ibiza island life so far. 🙂
