Ibiza is an island that’s filled with some of the greatest parties and stunning scenery in all the world! There really is an Ibiza that is perfect for everyone! From the beautiful more rustic north of the island, to the beautiful sunsets across the dramatic cliffs at Es Vedre – Ibiza really does spoil its visitors!
Why should you visit Ibiza?
One of the best things about Ibiza is that you can dip your toes into each of its scenes! Although Ibiza has a world-renowned reputation as a party capital, it is so much more!
If you’re planning a perfect holiday of beach parties and beautiful landscape, then look no further than Ibiza. One of the best things about planning a trip to the island is being able to have a fun-fuelled and legendary summer party while also planning to see sooooo many of the unspoilt natural beauty spots that are just waiting to be discovered.

Everyone, really! Ibiza is an island that can be relatively expensive but also economical – you just need to know when and where to look!
Budgeting or blow-out!
If you’re trying to keep costs lower, then plan to visit at the beginning of the summer season (before hotel and flight costs sky rocket). You can also keep costs lower by booking a lovely self catering accommodation where you can can cook until your heart’s (or tummy’s) content but also giving you the option to eat out at the hotel’s stunning restaurant or on the beach front. We’ve always found this to be the biggest way to keep costs lower and helps us save on certain costs, while spending on little indulgences here and there.
When should you visit?
There is most definitely a peak (and expensive) time to visit Ibiza, with this being between July-September one of the busiest and most expensive time to visit. Expect the island to be filled with lots of parties, many party goers with lots of revellers in the main towns.
On the other hand, if you’re looking for something a little more quiet, head to Ibiza in April-June or October. There is usually a steady stream of visitors at this time and with the weather still nice and warm, it can be a perfect time to discover a whole different side to the island.
Where should you stay?
We stayed at the Migjorn Ibiza Suites and Spa – which is based a minutes walk from the beaches and only 8 minutes from the partying of Space, Ibiza!
One of the best things about this Migjorn Ibiza is that it’s an all-suite hotel, meaning each an every room is a multi-level villa – complete with private balconies, fully equipped kitchens and bright and airy lounge and bedrooms. We had a total of 3 floors and two balconies which was amazing as we’d packed two massive suitcases filled to the brim with sun block and swim shorts.
The whole hotel feels very luxurious, especially with the Spa that you can privately book, just for yourselves! This alone was a perfect treat after a night of delicious food and lots of wino del rouge in the UNIC restaurant… hangover be gone!
The hotel offers all its guests FREE wifi. Honestly, paid-for wifi is one of my greatest pet peeves. Arriving at a destination to find that you have to pay an extortionate daily rate for wifi is just unacceptable. 🙂
Finally, Migjorn has some of the most helpful staff, ever! If, for instance, you’ve partied till dawn, the room service team will bring your breakfast, lunch or whatever you like, right to your dinning room table. Talk about indulgent! 🙂
Where is the hotel?
It’s just a few minutes drive (or taxi ride) from the airport! It’s one of the easiest hotels to get to from the airport (which is another big win!)
