Okay, so I don’t mean one of those long-haul flights where you catch a few Zzzzzz’s in-between movies and aeroplane meals; but an actual hotel! Intrigued?
Well, if that piqued your imagination, why not consider “Jumbo Stay” on your next adventure in Sweden. Based just outside Stockholm, Jumbo Stay offers a truly unique place to stay that makes me want to “up and leave” London for an exciting cockpit view.
Who Would Stay Here?
You know, the type of guy or gal that jet-sets the world packing only their aviators and frequent flyer card.
This hotel is a completely unique type of stay, if you are a plane geek or just love different types of hotels, you will love Jumbo Stay!
How To Get There?
Based close to Arlanda Airport, follow the signs to Norrtälje and Almunge. Jumbo Hotel is located on the opposite side from the Radisson Blu Arlandia and the Flight Academy.
You can fly directly to Arlanda with most major airlines – so there is no excuse. 🙂
How Much Will It Set Me Back?
If you want to book a special kind of stay, why not choose the cockpit suite (my favourite) at around £150-£200.
Alternatively, if you are travelling with a group of friends, why not book the 4-bed-room! Perfect for your own jumbo jet slumber party.
With the most economical rooms being around £70 a night, it can be an affordable option which won’t break the bank.
