I love a good meal with a view! Food tastes so much nicer and wine goes down so much smoother when there’s a great view to accompany your meal.
Arriving in Ho Chi Minh City (I’m just gonna refer to it now as HCMC), one of the top things recommended to do was to go up the Bitexco Tower – I’d seen it from our hotel and figured it made sense to check it out.
Upon arrival at the tower, the views across HCMC were spectacular but we just couldn’t shake off a gnawing feeling at the back of our minds. After taking in the views, we quickly realised that the rumbles we could hear and ‘gnawing feeling’ was that of hunger.
Thankfully, at the top of the tower, there’s a restaurant there and I did not need to be asked twice when lunch was suggested here.
I thoroughly recommend taking a trip to Eon 51 – it’s set on the 51st floor of the tower and does some pretty great meals! We went for pancakes, suckling pig and a Vietnamese take on ‘Boeuf Bourguignon. Here are the deets…
