Ibiza needs little introduction and for many of us, it will conjure thoughts of epic parties, wild nights and stunning sunsets that draw us back to the island year after year. In so many ways Ibiza is a misunderstood island that isn’t just all-night partying and sparkly drinks. Yep, partying has most definitely got its place on the island but there’s so much you can include on your holiday… you know, on those down days when you just want to relax and enjoy the island.
Ibiza’s breathtaking beauty, award winning restaurants and rugged northern coast can sometimes be hidden behind these blow out parties… but it needn’t be, parting and exploring don’t need to be mutually exclusive – in fact, they compliment each other pretty darn well.
Take a look at some of the best spots to enjoy on your next trip to Ibiza…
1.) Watch the sunset at Es Vedra
One of Ibiza’s most stunning spot to watch the sunset has to be overlooking Es Vedra. Head 20 minutes out of South West of the airport and you’ll reach Torre d’es Savinar, where you’ll stroll a few hundred metres to the cliff edge overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Grab yourself a bottle of prosecco, a designated driver and a good dose of excitement for one of the island’s most picturesque spots – perfect at sunset.
Alternatively, head across to Cala Comte and watch the sunset across the Illa Des Bosc. 🙂
2.) Shop till you drop at The Hippy Market
Every Wednesday, the Hippy Market in Punta Arabí opens its stalls to locals and visitors alike. Take a wander around midday, grab a bite to eat from one of the local stalls and discover a whole treasure trove of arts and crafts within the market itself. The whole area comes alive with dancers, musicians and lashings of enthusiasm.

The south of the island comes alive with some of the biggest, boldest and hedonistic parties in all of Europe. Head to some of the well-established party spots such as Pacha, Space and Ushuaïa for some non-stop partying… alternatively, head to some of the smaller venues that line the streets in and around Ibiza’s main towns.
5.) Eat in Ibiza Town
All that partying and sunshine will no doubt have you craving a good bite to eat! For a quirky, award winning, take on Spanish Tapas, head over to Sa Brisa Restaurant.
