Ibiza needs little introduction! It’s the kind of place that has so meant epic things to do and a heap of the best places to see in Ibiza that you’re gonna be spoilt for choice. It’s an island of diversity and one that has a little something for every type of visitor.
So much more than partying, Ibiza has a heap of award-winning restaurants, rugged coastlines and some of the best sunsets in the Mediterranean.
This is exactly why I wanted to share some of the best places to see in Ibiza when you visit. It’s the kind of island that you can spend weeks exploring!
1.) Watch the sunset at Es Vedra
One of Ibiza’s most stunning spot to watch the sunset has to be overlooking Es Vedra.
To get here, head 20 minutes from the South West of Ibiza Airport and you’ll reach Torre d’es Savinar.
From here, you’ll stroll a few hundred metres to the cliff edge overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Grab yourself a little tipple, a designated driver and a good dose of excitement for one of the island’s most picturesque spots. We love it here.
It’s easily one of the best places to see in Ibiza for a totally perfect sunset.
2.) Visit the Hippy Market
Every Wednesday, the Hippy Market in Punta Arabí opens its stalls to locals and visitors alike.
Take a wander around midday, grab a bite to eat from one of the local stalls and discover a whole treasure trove of arts and crafts within the market itself.
The whole area comes alive with dancers, musicians and lashings of enthusiasm.

We loved it and it’s easily one of the best places to see in Ibiza if you want a more holistic experience on the island.
4.) Party until dawn
Visiting Ibiza in the summer season usually means that you’re spoilt with choice, especially when it comes to nightlife.
The south of the island comes alive with some of the biggest, boldest and hedonistic parties in all of Europe.
Head to some of the well-established party spots such as Pacha, Privilege and Ushuaïa for some non-stop partying. Honestly, they’re some of the best places to see in Ibiza if you want to go partying.
Alternatively, head to some of the smaller venues that line the streets in and around Ibiza’s main towns.
5.) Gorge and explore in Ibiza Town
All that partying and sunshine will no doubt have you craving a good bite to eat!
For a quirky, award-winning, take on Spanish Tapas, head over to Sa Brisa Restaurant.
Here you’ll eat off china balloon dogs, trees, vintage cars and even out of porcelain heads. It’s an immersive experience filled with delicious food and an absolutely more-ish cocktail list.
6.) Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat
If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay whilst you party it up near Space – you should check out the all-suite Migjorn Ibiza Hotel.
This ideally situated hotel and spa is the perfect place to unwind after a long night of partying.
They’ll even bring you breakfast/dinner/supper right to your kitchen too (if that hangover is just too much). Don’t forget to grab a bite to eat the UNIC restaurant whilst you’re there.
You can see more on UNIC in our post here.
7.) Explore the little towns of Ibiza
San Juan is a beautiful little village in the northern part of the island.
Perched within the Mediterranean olive groves and dramatic hills, San Juan is a beautiful town to visit on a lazy Sunday when the local market arrives.
Head through the cobbled streets and don’t forget to grab a bite to eat and locally produced cocktails from the Giri Cafe. All their herbs and spices are grown directly in the gardens, making your cocktail as fresh as possible.
It’s one of the best places to see in Ibiza if you’ve got a car as you can freely roam the island.

11.) Hike across the unspoilt north
The unspoilt north of Ibiza is a complete contrast to the party towns of the south.
For a tranquil experience, head across one of the northern coastal paths that are marked and identified with ease.
Take a good pair of shoes, lots of sunblocks and a great deal of enthusiasm for those uphill rambles.
12.) Enjoy the quieter bays
If you’re a driver (or you’ve managed to drag a driving significant other or friend with you to Ibiza), don’t forget to rent a car – even if it’s only for one day.
A 24-hour rental can cost around 50 Euros and opens up a huge array of hidden spots that might be out of reach normally.
Take a drive across the north-western portion of the island, where you’ll discover an array of small coves, pristine hillsides and beautiful little villages.
Coves and beaches like; Cala Xarraca, Cala Mastella and Cala Pluma are gorgeous.
