Beautiful palatial gardens set around the Luxembourg Palace, the Jardin (i.e. Garden) is absolutely stunning and full of colour.
It is one of the largest public parks in Paris and dare I say, one of the nicest.

7.) Try Some Parisian Cuisine
Doesn’t matter what food or even where (okay it does but your taste buds and preference should decide that for you, not me or any guide) but just make sure you try some authentic Parisian food.
Paris is world renowned for having some of the best food and this is a reputation that is rightly so.
Plus, it’s one of the best things to do in Paris for couples; you can literally eat your way around the city.
Now, I’m typically a bit hap-hazard when it comes to planning for food and I like to venture out and stop at places where the food and ambience are good.
Make sure to grab a table at Le Saint-Regis for their steak and frites. Also, head to Café de Flore if you’re fancying some good coffee and a famous spot in Paris to experience.
For a gorgeous dinner (which I loved), head to the beautiful, Le Train Bleu. The restaurant is so grand and beautiful. Plus, the food is just so good. Tables do go quickly, so book before arriving in Paris.

8.) Experience the nightlife
The nightlife is amazing in Paris so ensure you take in some part of it. You may not be up to a full club night but try to stop for a glass of wine (or two or three…).
We totally love the Le Marais area of Paris for nightlife, cool bars, quaint little cafes and lots of fun. It really is one of the best things to do in Paris for couples for an evening out in town.
Pop into Bisou for their yummy cocktails and Ober Mamma for some of the best pasta in Paris.
Want a glass of wine in a cosy setting? Head over the river to Chez Georges. It’s totally traditional and serves up some local wines in a rustic cellar-type vibe. We loved it.
9.) River Cruise
One of the best things to do in Paris for couples has to be a river cruise. It’s one gorgeous way to explore the city and is totally romantic, too.
If you’re short on time, book this one-hour Paris river cruise that’s so worth it. You get to see the main sights, including the Eiffel Tower and it’s such a nice way to spend an afternoon.
